I had purchased a white chocolate and raspberry whey protein and a tropical flavoured creatine this time round. In all honesty I have been purchasing nz muscle products for a couple years now to help with my transitions and hardcore bodybuilding durations. . and it has never failed me once. I’m always excited to try out new flavours!.

1. Doesn't mix in the water or milk properly ( too much lumps and curdles in the water, milk and oats mix)
2. Chocolate cake flavour is worst
3. Chocolate cake flavour taste genuine artificial
4. Not sure the amount of protein written in 4. 5kg of bag is genuine

Versatile not to overpowering
I love the lime milkshake flavor. I'm an older woman who needs more protein than I get with my diet.
The whey is easy to digest and tops up my protein needs.

After watching the documentary and checking my banana whey protein seeing a dirty expiry date sticker slapped on the bottom I’m now unsure what this product even is and whether this is some extended made up date! So disgusted a NZ company could get away with something so corrupt, unsure how they haven’t immediately been shut down! Do not purchase their products!!
Its pretty good protien powder, taste wise. I will say, the chocolate flavor is coming through greatly, but the cake part of it is left out.

The chocolate flavour is okay and it's drinkable on its own, but I wasn't overly impressed. The biggest downside for me was the mixability — it tends to stay a bit lumpy and doesn't blend as smoothly as other protein powders I've tried.
I also found it didn't work well in recipes. When added to overnight oats, the flavour and texture weren't great, and it left a slightly artificial aftertaste. I've definitely used other protein powders that mix better and taste much nicer in both shakes and food.
Overall, it's decent if you're just having it as a basic shake, but there are better options available for taste, texture, and versatility.
I love a salted caramel flavored anything so this is right up my alley!

I mean it tastes good, but is it what it says it is. Even though it says batch tested can we really trust that especially with recent issues that have come to light. Such a shame i will never repurchase trust has gone.

Used to buy their protein and trusted the brand, but after seeing all this, trust is kinda broken. Hope the rumours aren’t true, but hard to know how to trust NZ Muscle again without proper answers.
Liked the product but unfortunately won’t be supporting this business moving forward. Let’s see if this 1 star review gets removed.
