WheyDeals is operated by NZ Muscle Ltd ("we", "us"). We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Contact details: your name, email, phone number and billing and delivery addresses.
Order details: the products you buy, return or add to your cart, and your order history.
Account details: your login and preferences if you create an account.
Payment details: payments are processed securely by our payment providers (for example Shopify Payments, Afterpay and PayPal). We don't store your full card details.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Messages: anything you send us when you contact customer service.

How we use it

To process, ship and support your orders, returns and refunds.
To manage your account and respond to your questions.
To send you deals and news if you've signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or text.
To show you relevant advertising on other websites and social media.
To improve our website, products and service, and to prevent fraud.
To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with people who help us run our business, including:

Shopify, which hosts our store (see the Shopify Privacy Policy)
payment providers
couriers and delivery partners
email, SMS, analytics and advertising partners (such as Klaviyo, Google and Meta)
other companies in the NZ Muscle group

We may also share information where the law requires it. We never sell your personal information. Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand. When they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure it's protected in a way comparable to the Privacy Act.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how our site is used, and measure our advertising. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss and misuse, and to stop anyone from accessing it without permission. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete your account. To make a request, contact us using the details below. If you're not happy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
