Arginine is a conditionally essential basic amino acid involved primarily in urea metabolism and excretion, as well as in DNA synthesis and protein production. It is an important precursor of nitric oxide (NO) and thus plays a role in the dilation of blood vessels.

L-Arginine is required to synthesize nitric oxide in the body. It helps blood vessels to relax and expand, thus allowing more blood, oxygen and nutrients to flow to organs and muscles. Arginine plays an essential role in the maintenance of proper nitrogen balance through its participation in the metabolism ammonia and excretion of urea. Arginine supports normal liver detoxification processes, helping your body eliminate toxic materials and supporting overall metabolic health.L-Arginine is classified as a “conditionally essential” amino acid. In certain stressful situations, such as illness or injury, the body requires higher levels of these amino acids from the diet. Since exercise is basically controlled injury of muscle tissue, L-Arginine supplement can benefit exercise recovery.

Other Ingredients: Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Vegetarian Coating [hypromellose (cellulose), calcium carbonate, mct oil (medium-chain triglycerides) (from coconut/palm kernel oil), xylitol], Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Croscarmellose Sodium and Silicon Dioxide.
Dose (adults):
Take 1 tablet twice daily as needed. Take between meals or at bedtime with at least 8 oz. of water or juice to
facilitate absorption.
